In 1993 an English cryptologist called Adam Lewis decodes a single phrase from the most challeging code of all: The Voyinch Manuscript. He finds his own name in the manuscript. But how can this be when the document is over a thousand years old? The investigation of the phrase leads to one word. Pandora! The timeriders' investigation of the origins of the manuscript leads them to sherwood forest in 1193. They must investigate the area to find out how Adam's name came to be in the document and prevent the time contamination that leads to a fourth crusade, lead by King Richard II.
